CR: When you left The View, were you worried about filling Katie Couric’s Manolo Blahniks?
MV: Well, I wear a size 10 and I think she’s a size 8, so I felt OK about it. [Laughs.] But I’m not trying to be Katie. You’re destined to fail if you try to be something you’re not.

I didn’t know she was a size 10 though.
I used to love seeing her high arches on “The View” back when they were allowed to dress as homemakers. But then the fashion consultants came into play and ruined it for us foot lovers. Instead of looking like soccer moms hanging out talking amongst each other, they suddenly became corporate business women talking amongst each another.
Size ten is just crazy for someone who is 5 foot 3. She’s known for having very high arches though. I trust this size, but it’s a shame, since her big feet would probably be some of the best if they were smaller, given her high arches and all.
You are right emil…Meredith hasa no chance to have small feet with all those factors against her ;)
Don’t forget though, Mario, she is over 50 & nobody’s feet shrink with age but instead widen and fit larger shoes. Also she has children & feet increase in size during pregnancy, sometimes staying that size later in life.
Wow. For someone 5′3, a size 10 is enormous for Meredith.
