Forum’s a good idea.
ctd, drop me an email at the Contact address above and I can fill you in more on this.
Hey chuck you know what this site could use? A forum. Some of the discussions here are getting kind of lengthy and a WordPress comment page isn’t really suited for all this. Also a forum would make it way easier to discuss stuff that isn’t directly related to a certain celebrity (like general discussions, or talking about celebs you don’t have a page for yet, or stuff like this). Plus you wouldn’t have to manually approve every message first before it gets posted.
Well think about it. I like the site a lot, it’s just an idea :)
Ok…nevermind what I said about the auction not showing up – it was just coming up real weird-looking on my browser. It actually said “this page is no longer available” but then the contents of the auction showed up way far down at the bottom of my screen.
The link I provided in my previous post is still valid and will take you to the auction. What I meant by “closed and gone” was that it’s not showing up anywhere on eBays system (for example if you search for ’sarah palin’ you won’t find it). So you won’t know it’s there unless you have a direct link.
It was actually another site visitor who pointed me to the recently-closed auction. I wouldn’t have found it in my normal eBay searched because it was just filed under “women’s shoes”. But it’s really odd that the auction isn’t showing up anymore – it was there last night. I thought they kept completed auctions around for 90 days. I can post a copy of the auction if you’re really curious.
Wow, I guess you made some kind of lightning eBay ninja move, because I just checked and that auction is already closed and gone. If anyone’s interested you can still find it here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270333037673
This is a great find!
