Source: A visitor to this site emailed another model who has worked with Elle (see exchange below in comments #5 and #7). This model's personal asistant confirmed that Elle's shoe size was 12.

Maybe it’s a 42 ? Rather hard to make that number out ? Could be 45, but the 2 MIGHT look like 5
To James: It is clearly a size 45…that was the pic I was talking about. This is proof positive that she is a 12.5 or 13 US.

The first digit (right on the photo) is definitively a 4. The second digit… well, it’s a bit hard to tell… best we can do is eliminate some possibilities:
It is definitely not: 1, 2, 4, 7, 9.
It is probably not: 0, 8.
It could be: 3, 5, 6.
Because the top part of the number seems to be a straight dash, I’m leaning towards a 5. I’m not sure, though.
45 is the only number that makes sense based on the fact that the top part of the number is straight….I told you people all along that she was a 12-13 and this is proof. I guess Stephanie Seymour was correct
There is a close up of the bottom of her shoes from June 30 launch of Briains next top model. I am not sure, but it looks like it says “45″ upside down on the bottom. That would be a 12.5. Can anyone else find it?
Is anyone curious as to why Elle’s boots were pulled from Oxfam’s London auction? I say its because she really doesn’t want the public to know her true size 12 (at least) shoe size.

You said “3rd column down and third pic over”, but I guess some more pictures got added to the album since you posted that and the layout got completely changed.

Not hard at all! And no, that picture is waaay to small to make out her shoe size. Blowing it up won’t help because the information simply isn’t there.
I think that there is an overestimation of her shoesize. According to well-known agency she wears a 9 (and I think is correct)

I don’t know if it is possible, but if you go to picapp.com and search elle, there are a bunch of recent images showing her ENOURMOUS feet in sandals on the set of her show The Beautiful Life filming in NYC. On the first page she is in a black dress and heels, and it appears if anyone can blow up the picture her shoes have the size on the bottom. Her feet are the biggest I have ever seen on a woman.
Lucy that is an EXCELLENT point! Standard shoe sizes carried by may stores is 6 through 10. Now you know she has the bucks to pay for special sized shoes and probably has at some point but I’m sure that she has been “squeezing” for quite some time
On those modelling sites they often (usually) display models as having smaller feet than they actually do. You’ll notice it’s difficult to find any model in any agency is listed as having feet bigger than a size 10, because if their feet are bigger than a size 10, many shoe brands will not fit. Many models take ages trying to squeeze into shoes 2 sizes too small before they can go out onto the catwalk.
Elle may be a 12, but if she is no official listing will say so.
More proof that Elle is at least a 12 if not bigger. I googled her on Google News and an article came up recently about living in NYC with celebs. The lady said that she looked at an apartment to buy and the agent said it was Elle’s place. She said she knew from all of her pics on the wall. She looked in the closet and said that her shoes were extraordinarily huge. That is the only comment about her. A 9, 10 or 11 are not extraordinarily huge.
I think 12 is about right, she’s over 6ft tall and all the pics ive seen her feet look huge.
look at Elle’s feet compared to size 11 kate Winslet and size 10 Eva Mednes…tell me her feet look smaller than theirs
You are so off on this…look at any other size 10 person and compare Elle’s feet. Her feet are at least a big toe bigger than other size 10’s. She is at least 6 foot 1 and has the biggest hands a woman has ever had, it makes sense that her feet are huge.
i went to a was musuem in HKG once and Elle wax is there .. she’s definitely not 6′3 and i dont think her feet are that big as well .. guys come on look at many of her photos, her feet are not that big!!! i’d say 10 would be max

Wow that very large! The brannock device (shoe size measure) only goes up to womens’ 13. She would almost fill the device. Beautiful lady ..large feet!

She replied and said that Stephanie and Elle worked together in the past and they are still great friends and keep in touch……I guess we have a solid answer: Size 12

I have always thought Elle was a 12 or larger. Then I read this site and saw the pics that Josh said to look at. As a result, I searched for models with e-mail addresses. On myspace, I e-mailed Stephanie Seymour. I asked about her and if she knew Elle and can comment on her height and shoe size. I got a response from her personal assistant and she said to me: Stephanie is a 10 and Elle is a 12. She also told me that Elle is really 6 foot 3. I don’t know about her being 6 foot 3, so take her answer about Elle’s feet with a grain of salt. I did respond asking her how she knows Elle is a 12 (does she know her, firsthand knowledge, etc..) and I am waiting to see if she responds. I do think Elle is at least a 12. This is pretty good proof.
That’s a really nice site, josh – thanks for pointing it out. I found some good pics of Elle and she definitely looks bigger than 9 or 10 or even 10.5. But I’m not too good at estimating large sizes based on pictures so it’s hard to say exactly what size she might be.
I tried to find some pics of her shoes or boots with their soles showing – to try to find the size. This is about the best I could find:

Please look at her enourmous feet on bellazon.com . Search her name under models and look at the last page. “November 14 she promotes her lingerie in NYC” Tell me they are smaller than a 13
If you have a better source for her shoe size, please post it. Besides sizematcher, I found two other places, wikipedia and fashionmodeldirectory.com that listed her size as US 9, EU 40.
are you kidding me? She is at LEAST a 12 and maybe a 12.5. Biggest feet of any model. Compare her feet to pics of size 10 Cindy Crawford. Elle makes Cindy’s feet look like children’s feet.
