Here is Lauren at the “Flash of Genius Screening”. You can see the size 39 on the bottom of her shoe.

Its probably true she wears size 9. She is rather tall. Her feet have ultra-high arches too. People can usually wear a few sizes smaller or larger based on the type of shoe worn. So for her to say she wears a 9, but the auction is for 8.5, that is no big difference. She probably could wear a 10 depending on the style of the shoe.
On the Gilmore Girls it was mentioned once or twice that her character’s shoe size was 9. But we all know tv isn’t real :) …and those auctions point to an 8.5, so…
I saw Lauren’s feet often on tv and in the magazines and i find it hard to believe that her REAL shoe size is 8.5. Her feet are long and very large. She has cute feet but she probably fits more in a size 10.
